Playing with this program called “TVPaint”. It lets you animate classic Disney style. seriously. even though it may not look like it here because i’m a total noob. But mark my words, i will master this program. and possibly do some sherlock animations of my own practice on some cool things animators do!
Why did I pay so much attention in making this? I’m usually impatient in making these. WHY.
I was supposed to be studying. But instead I practiced animating again. -___- This is an original character, so don’t ask. (why yes. I do have, in fact, original characters of my own)

Whenever my dad’s drunk and i tell him something, he gets into “preach mode”.
I showed him my Lady animation and he starts asking about whats the difference about animating in the computer and hand drawn.
It was quite hard for me to explain but i finally said “….well, in hand drawn you get a totally different feeling from computer animated. It’s more…classic.”
He asked me what was better. i said “definitely hand drawn.”
Although i can tell he’s drunk, he did make some good points. He started preaching about how when it’s hand drawn the artist’s stroke’s are there. it was made by the artist’s bare hands and how my dad was amazed at how hard it actually is to animate even a 5 second scene. hm.
Although throughout the whole conversation i felt uncomfortable. I mean, he’s drunk.
I am SO happy with this. A month ago or something, I got reeeaaally excited about what you actually do when you animate. And so for an animation table, i used a glass table and a flashlight underneath XD These papers were just stacked in my folder and i just decided to scan them and animate it in photoshop! :’D
Although it’d be really awesome if i did better. But this is the first time i animated with paper!

I had to dig through my recycle bin for the photoshop file of that animation. and warning. BIG FILE. that teensy weensy animation had 27 frames. ugh. I don’t know what “Pascal animation” anon was saying, because i have 2 pascal animations. but this is what i have.
FINALLY FINISHED. after seeing my Pascal animation, (that i previously reblogged) i decided to go and animate him again. He’s the only thing that i successfully animate in full color.

my Pascal animation was 100X better. people are harder to animate than i thought. I don’t even know if i can color this D: Flynn, sorry if i did not give you justice! I’ll see if i can still color this.
the color changes because i change the brush’s color so that i wouldn’t be confused from all the other frames as i draw it.
